MRI Results and chemotherapy treatment....

God is so good!!!... Dalen had his second MRI on Monday. We received the results today and the tumor has shrunk!! God is so good!! I was so happy to hear the good news today. Dalen's doctor was surprise how much the tumor shrunk. She said " This is strange, it has shrunk sufficiently." I could only smile when I heard her say this because I knew it wasn't nobody but God. On Monday before we went in I told everyone that we were expecting good news. I received the good news today!! I'm so happy. Dalen does not understand how the tumor could shrink and his vision hasn't got better. He mentioned today that his sight has gotten blurry. The doctor explained that the optic nerve may have to adjust itself back to normal. Her example was if a book was placed on a cord for a couple hours and then removed, you can see there would be a dent, but after serval minutes the cord would push the dent out and would be normal. However, if a book was there for years it would take longer for the dent to be pushed out or maybe the dent could stay there because the book damaged the cord. This maybe the same for Dalen's optic nerve. His nerve could be adjusted to normal or it could be damaged. However, his sight can't get worst. It could stay the same or get better. We GOING FOR BETTER!! Our God is a doctor, healer, and a miracle worker and He has proven this today. The doctor also indicated that Dalen's chemotherapy treatments will continue as normal until March 2014. Even if the tumor completely disappear Dalen will still have to finish out the treatments. It's just like if Dalen was taking an ten day antibiotic. Please continue to pray for Dalen, his journey is not over just yet. But it's coming soon by God's grace and mercy.
